My love of music and going to gigs eventually made me pick up a camera. During the early years, I worked mainly in editorial (RAW magazine for 6 years and Kerrang magazine for 11 years). I eventually left editorial, searching to shoot for a broader client base.
Over the years, I built strong relationships with artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers (15 years) and The Foo Fighters (20 years). The bulk of pictures you see in both band portfolios are shot on 35mm film, the days before digital. More recently, I’ve shot for The 1975 (4 years) providing many pictures for all the bands online social media content.
Throughout my career, my work has appeared in publications all over the world including Rolling Stone, Q magazine, The Sunday Times and Spin to name a few. A personal career highlight (although I’ve had many!) is having a book published worldwide documenting my time with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, plus a great number of my pictures used in the bands official book.
