Bootsy Collins – This shot was the result of a publicity photo session for Island Records. My mentor, Lane Pederson, had a studio with a helicopter landing pad on the roof. Bootsy was great to work with and took his teddy bear everywhere with him. Teddy lived in Bootsy’s costume case.
